Why am I a midwife?
I am a midwife because I desire to genuinely serve mothers undergoing the childbearing process. I believe that midwifery is the best means for me to pursue this desire and fulfill the calling of God on my life. I enjoy watching as the miracle of life unfolds before my eyes time and again. I also greatly enjoy being able to give personalized care to each woman at this special time in her life. This is something offered by the midwifery model of care that is unavailable through mainstream medicine.
